Soon after Pakistan’s surprise to India, video of Pak squadron leader Hassan Siddiqui making rounds on the internet with great applause for his valour and achievement as he reportedly shot down two Indian fighter jets violating airspace along LOC.
In response to Indian aggression, Pakistan Air Force on Wednesday unnerved the enemy force by shooting down their two fighter jets in the broad day light. One of the aircraft fell inside AJ&K while other fell inside IOK. One Indian pilot was also taken into custody by troops.
The Pakistani squadron leader Hassan Siddiqui successfully achieved the target, recalling the memory of 7 September 1965 when Air Commodore Muhammad Mahmood Alam SJ downed nine Indian Air Force aircraft during the Indo-Pakistani War of 1965, including five Hawker Hunter aircraft on one sortie.
Siddiqui, who belonged to Karachi, received a hero’s welcome as soon as his plane touched down after downing Indian jets which violated Pakistan’s territorial integrity.
According to details, the officials of PAF surrounded Siddiqui’s plane as soon as landed back after successfully engaging the Indian plane.
