Rihanna’s Fenty Beauty Line has saved the makeup lives of many, and has now just recetly launched a foundation line with 50 or more shades. These 50 shades of foundation are bet to match your skin tone, as Rihanna makes sure that no one is left out.
But no one’s perfect, and while the product did end up being an overall hit (cue any blogger review) among its doting and growing range of global customers, a persistent complaint seems to be that the foundation isn’t compatible with dry skin.
But while the original foundation offered 40 shades (a groundbreaking feat for the industry that had already become somewhat normalized), the Pro Filt’r Longwear Hydrating Foundation comes in 50 shades. This new expansion of shade range follows the recent introduction of a Pro Filt’r concealer that also featured 50 options for all different skin tones.
“I wanted to take Pro Filt’r beyond skin tone to serve all skin types. Nothing is more important to me than making sure that everyone feels included,” Rihanna said.
“The formula features Grape Seed Oil and Sodium Hyaluronate to give skin the nourishing hydration it needs to stay comfortable all day,” the brand added in a press release. “Just like the original Pro Filt’r, Pro Filt’r Hydrating Longwear Foundation has a sweat and humidity resistant formula that easily blends and builds, instantly evening out skin without clogging pores or settling into it.”
The Fenty Beauty Pro Filt’r Longwear Hydrating Foundation is priced at $35, and will be available online and in store starting August 15, 2019 at Sephora and.
